I reserved a manual car, but the car rental company upgraded it to an automatic. I'm grateful.

Budget! My first time driving abroad, such thoughtful service! Highly recommend! At Zurich Airport and Florence Airport, both share the same counter with Avis, very prominent. The staff are friendly and courteous, very attentive. The car was almost new, with less than 1,000 kilometers. We mistakenly filled the tank with the wrong fuel and broke down on the highway from Florence to Milan. Called the roadside assistance number on the rental agreement, and a tow truck arrived in 15 minutes, towing us and the car to a repair shop for free. The staff asked for our preference and helped us get a taxi to the nearest Florence Airport Budget counter, where they immediately gave us a new car free of charge. Returning the car was easy.

Renting from a big company is better. The car was new, only 6000 kilometers on a FORD MODEO, and they added a GPS for free.

They tried to sell additional insurance on pickup. I didn’t take it because I had full cover from QEEQ.COM. Upon return nobody was there to check the car. I left the car in the same condition as I picked it up. Two days later my card was changed over 2800 CHF. I had to follow up to find out that it was due to damage I made (!). I took 4 weeks to get the damage report from Budget. Apparently there were some body marks I three places on the van.

Once Budget provided damage report I received full amount back from QEEQ.COM. Good communication and service from staff. Well done.
