Additionally, the rental came with numerous restrictions, such as signs everywhere in the store saying you couldn't leave the province or had mileage limits. Don't be fooled by these; they are not reflected in the contract, so don't pay unnecessary fees. I was charged an extra 21.98 CAD and it disrupted my travel plans. Remember, the signage about province restrictions and a 200km mileage limit is misleading and not part of the agreement—just ignore them. Total costs: 65.94 CAD plus an additional driver, 21.98 CAD for leaving the province, and 14.50 CAD airport fee. Next time, I'll stick with Hertz or other major companies. These unexpected restrictions and charges affect your trip, and even with everything added, this isn't the cheapest option. Don't be tempted by low prices.
