About Hertz: 4.0 /10
I originally booked a Tesla Model 3 for 30 days with full insurance, at an average daily rate of $580, thinking it would be worth it to experience FSD in California. However, when I arrived at the rental store, they informed me there were no cars available. They said I could rent a Chevy Bolt instead, claiming it's in the same category. I was shocked and said, isn't that one of the cheapest electric cars priced at less than $300 per day? The staff member responded dismissively and gave me a 'take it or leave it' attitude. Frustrated, I asked if I could cancel, but he said no money had been charged yet and I could contact my booking agency. Unfortunately, by the time we discussed this, my pickup time had already passed. The customer service at Zuzuche told me the order couldn't be canceled anymore, and I had no choice but to proceed with the rental. I argued that a car priced at half the cost with such a significant difference in size and features could not be considered the same category. The customer service replied that this classification was decided by the rental company, not Zuzuche. Left with no better option, I started searching and comparing prices on the spot and found that the Bolt was indeed $300 per day at the time. I sent the evidence to the customer service team, who contacted Hertz, and after much negotiation, managed to secure a refund. After the refund, I still needed a car, so I had no option but to check what vehicles were available. I ended up renting a Malibu as the safest choice at the time. I'll review the next three-week rental experience later, but spoiler: I booked another Tesla and again, there was no car available when I went to pick it up. It's beyond frustrating. I don't know whether to blame Zuzuche or Hertz, but either way, this car rental experience was a complete scam. Terrible experience!

About Hertz: 10.0 /10
The service attitude was quite good. I picked up the car around 9 pm and there was no queue. The customer service did not mention insurance, but when I proactively requested full coverage, they added it. After picking up the car in Los Angeles and driving to Irvine, I felt the car was a bit old, so I went to their branch there and exchanged it for another car that was more attractive and newer. It was very comfortable to drive. The car exchange in the San Francisco Stanford area took about 30 minutes in line. The service attitude there was also excellent. They said I could leave after handing over the keys, but I insisted on receiving a receipt on-site. They calculated the fuel cost for the exchange on the spot, and I signed the documentation. The deposit was refunded very quickly, within two to three days. Afterwards, I received toll and service fee invoices gradually.
