The car was in excellent condition! The service was also great. It's worth mentioning that the car had a GPS, which helped me navigate out of a construction area. I brought my own GPS from home, but it wasn't as good.

Service from Hertz in Lille centre was fine once we located the correct office. (see next field). Hertz staff gave us good advice which we heeded, e.g. GPS, auto Versus manual, choice of model. On return of car we forgot to mention to Hertz staff that we noticed one of the reversing lights wasn't working on the Peugout 2008 (FE108FX). The car listing showed Standard Crossover, Peugeot 3008 or similar. But the actual car was a Toyota CHR which is much smaller both in terms of seating capacity and luggage. And the navigation system was faulty.
