There was an African-American female staff member who had a terrible attitude, like we owed her money. Half an hour after picking up the car, we were informed of several complaints against us. We were asked to return the car to the rental office, and our order was forcibly canceled without a refund. When we requested details and evidence of the complaints, we were told that the complaints were only received over the phone with no specific details provided. Isn't this just a scam targeting Chinese people?

The car wasn't filled up when picked up. Although they agreed that the fuel level just needs to be the same when returning, it's hard to estimate. Pickup efficiency was low, waited for over 30 minutes. The car was average with over 60,000 kilometers. Another car rented from Thrifty had only over 10,000 kilometers, and the pickup efficiency was very high, got it in 5 minutes.

Arriving at the car rental company went smoothly. QEEQ messed up all the information, but the rental company still gave us the car. Very grateful for that.

The Apex staff at both Christchurch and at Auckland were very friendly and helpful, making the whole process easy and stress free.

I found the QEEQ system very straightforward to use for searching and booking. The value for money was excellent.

The car shouldn’t be allowed on the road. It’s been in multiple accidents and the brakes don’t work properly. Not safe at all. I can’t believe this is ok. I had to leave a week early and of course no refunds so I paid a premium per day for a car that shouldn’t be on the road. Literally parts are falling off the car! My next review will be online on the major sites.
