The contract has hidden clauses and charges high service fees. They secretly deduct from the pre-authorization after returning the car. This is a very dishonest car rental company.

Staff are all Chinese and communication in Mandarin is smooth. They provide driving training for beginners before renting, which is commendable. However, they gave us a downgraded Chinese-made seven-seater car with poor performance and high fuel consumption. The fuel tank was almost empty at handover. It's really baffling why a Chinese-run rental company doesn't follow international standards (foreign rental companies usually hand over cars with a full tank and upgrade if the same class is unavailable).

The time spending for pick up need to be improve.

All I needed was a car to get from A to B and back. Got a late model stationwagon that was perfectly adequate. Engine was a bit rough around the edges, but for what I wanted and the rate I paid - was more than happy with the car and the service received. And finally a rental car company that uses a camera to record damage pre/post rental. Would happily use Aucar in the future.

Was initially worried - but this transaction went through smoothly.
