We couldn’t get the car we had paid for as gold car wouldn’t accept the insurance so we had to pay another £175 or they would charge our credit card £1400 which we would get returned to us within 30 days . This is totally unacceptable and for this reason we will not recommend your company and will not be using again

“All good other than Goldcar”

Although I had documents saying amount due at airport as 0 I still had to pay a fuel surcharge of €24 (or they refused to give me the car) plus the incessant pressure sales techniques from Goldcar to take their insurance. Booked a Ford Focus got a Seat Leon which was smaller than anticipated

I was happy with the service and the car. However, there was an extra unexpected charge when I collected the car. It wasn’t clear what this was for as it was suggested it was for airport taxes, but EasyRentCars stated all taxes and fees were included.
