Average experience. Arrived early but had to wait an additional two hours because the car wasn't ready. Management seemed a bit disorganized. The substitute vehicle was a Mazda SUV, but the key was out of battery and couldn't start. Although we eventually got a similar vehicle, the two-hour delay was frustrating. Booking through Budget might be cost-effective, but the service is subpar. I recommend considering other companies.

Only one member of staff on during a busy time led to long queueing time and then when arrived, had run out of the vehicle type I'd paid for. Had the option of an electric car or a minivan.

Arrived at 12:30 AM, waited an hour in line to complete the paperwork. When it was finally my turn, the staff went to check the vehicle for 15 minutes. When they returned, they asked me to pay. Luckily, I asked what the charge was for, because my English isn't great and I didn't understand right away. I then remembered someone mentioning a mandatory insurance fee. It turned out to be true, but I declined. The staff wasn't happy. When I went to pick up the car, the parking spot was poorly marked and I had trouble finding any staff to help. When I finally found someone, I almost drove off in the car before noticing it was damaged—the front headlights were broken! I had booked an SUV, but was told this was the only one left. The staff was polite but had no other car options. After searching for an hour, I settled for a sedan, which had a big scratch on the back—thankfully, I noticed it, otherwise I couldn't have explained it later. In the end, we could only fit four people with luggage in the back seat. Fortunately, we were only four people, or we would've had to wait even longer. They refunded $80. We finally left at 3 AM, which really spoiled our initial mood upon arriving in the US.
