Initially booked a 7-seater, but were given a 9-seater on the day, which felt too large for us. Parking was very difficult in Switzerland. Additionally, the fuel tank was only 3/8 full when we received the car, but we were required to return it with a full tank.

The store did not provide any explanation about the vehicle. They just handed over the keys and let us go. There was a dispute about the fuel level upon return. The VW Polo kept showing a tire pressure issue, but there was no actual problem.

The diesel car has great power.

I booked the car a month in advance, but when I went to pick it up, I was told that there were no Golf or similar cars available and that I needed to upgrade. After upgrading, I got a Polo, which made me seriously suspect that this was a malicious charge (there were cars available, but they told me otherwise to charge an extra fee for an upgrade, and it was actually the same car).

The Zurich airport rental office is not far from the arrival hall, and you can walk there without needing a shuttle. There were not many people in line, and while the staff was not particularly enthusiastic, they were polite enough. I got the car quickly. However, the return location at Geneva airport lacks clear signage. Initially, I couldn't find the return spot and had to circle around and ask someone for directions. If you miss the only small sign, you might end up driving into France! Of course, this is not the fault of the rental office, and the return process was quick.
