Make sure to take a photo of the fuel gauge and mileage before starting. If it's not a full tank, you really need to report it. I received a car with an empty tank, thought it was normal, but it turned out it wasn't! They tried to charge me a penalty, but luckily I kept the receipt for refueling.

The process was smooth right from entering the store.

The waiting time wasn't long, but a Thrifty employee added an unknown insurance to my rental without my consent, costing over $30 for three days. They also tried to sell us a full tank of gas. When we refused, saying we wouldn't need that much fuel, they lied, claiming we'd need a full tank to visit Haleakala National Park. In reality, our three-day trip, including the Road to Hana and Haleakala National Park, only used half a tank. This kind of irresponsible sales tactic is infuriating. The car itself was good, both in terms of performance and condition, which I was satisfied with.
