The 12-seater Toyota Hiace was in terrible condition, completely different from the model shown in the pictures. It was a 20-year-old version with manual roll-down windows, the interior was a total mess with many trims falling off. The exterior had collision marks, dents on the doors that hadn't been repaired, and some parts were even rusted. I will never rent from this company again.

Let me share my experience renting a car this time. On May 21, we rented two cars, one of which had a flat tire shortly after. We changed the tire ourselves, and the next day we were given a replacement car. However, my credit card was charged 500 NZD. We bought full insurance but haven't received any resolution yet. Additionally, when booking, it was clearly stated that the car rental company would cover the transition fee, but they refused to provide it. The car we picked up was also different from what was promised. As for this car, the battery died the next day and we had to spend a whole morning before getting a replacement. Then, the door of the new car was broken. Believe me, you should avoid renting cars from this platform. Out of the three cars we rented, two had issues. The reason for the cheap price is that these are very old cars, which you can buy locally for 3000 NZD, and they rent these to you at a high price. The service is unreliable, and the car conditions are worrying. Not to mention your safety. You will most likely spend your time dealing with car repairs and replacements. And then you continuously deal with insurance hassles upon returning.

Customer experience was poor, for example: They required a driving test before picking up the car. Originally booked a 2016 TOYOTA RAV4 through the rental car company, but on pickup, they gave us a NISSAN X-Trail without any explanation and just told us to go to another rental company if we weren't satisfied.

There's a phone next to the i information counter at the airport arrivals. The one on the left is free to use and there's a notice on the wall with car rental instructions. Call them by dialing 08, and you'll reach a foreigner who will direct you to walk towards the building with the purple 'Parking' sign outside the arrivals area. You'll find a staff member there to pick you up. A few minutes later, we met Aline who picked us up. The car we received was a Nissan Qashqai with over 120,000 kilometers on it. We were initially worried about the car's condition but couldn’t switch as it was the only available option. After checking the inspection records, which showed it was inspected in March and at the end of September, we trusted New Zealand’s vehicle inspection standards and took the car. After 7 days and nearly 1,500 kilometers, the car performed well and we were quite satisfied.

Car was certainly used; many dents, scrathes, and star chip on the windscreen. Stereo speakers were lousy. There was a very loud rattle from the forward end of the vehichle. All noted at end of trip and they said they would report them to mechanic. Car ran fine and did the job comfortably.
