The staff at the parking lot were quite nice. There was a big guy with glasses who helped us with our luggage and placed it in the trunk. Since the trunk of the GLA was too small, we asked if we could switch cars. After some back and forth, we ended up sticking with the GLA and put another large suitcase in the front passenger seat. His attitude was very friendly and patient despite the hassle. Another staff member, wearing a yellow vest, helped us with the child seat we rented. He patiently demonstrated how to use it and, after realizing the buckle was not secure, put in a lot of effort to re-fasten it securely. We are very grateful to these two staff members! We rented a car from Thrifty at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. They open at 8 AM, and we waited in line for 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly and provided a route map for picking up the car, which was very convenient.

There is no Chinese service. Possibly due to the high demand for rentals during the New Year, the attitude of a few foreigners was terrible; they showed no expression and were very impatient when explaining issues. The car model I booked was unavailable, and I was given a very small car with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude.

We were early (flight change) and returned it late. The additional day's fee was very reasonable. They swapped cars to cater for us. Car was awesome with no problems experienced.

Since we were forced to change our arrival and departure flight time (Jetstar), we needed to add a day to our booking but Easyrent couldn't manage this and told us to cancel our booking and re-book. This seems an extreme solution. In the end, we solved it with Thrifty with no issues. Apart from this, very happy with both Thrifty and Easyrent.
