Easy to rent, good price, only the car was smaller than we ordered (Economy-Nissan Note)

The worst car rental experience I've ever had. Not only were they rude, but after paying the rental fee, they directly charged my card 998 euros as a deductible for insurance, claiming it was not a deposit. They said it would be refunded 12 to 15 business days after confirming the car was fine. I've rented from companies like Avis and Sixt before, and they usually just take a note of your credit card without charging a deposit. This company, however, charges your card immediately and doesn't refund upon return. You could barely find this clause in the rental contract. I wanted to switch rental companies, but they charged me since I didn't provide a PIN immediately. It felt like theft, especially since it was cash. If I weren't abroad and didn't want to ruin my trip, I would've called the police! I even contacted the rental platform's customer service, but only received standard replies saying everything would be fine and they'd report the issue. My question is, what if my credit card expires before I get my refund? Who covers that nearly 1000 euros?

This shop didn't mind me renting two cars under the same name as long as I had enough drivers with valid licenses. However, the charges were confusing. I booked through the mobile app, and the car rental platform pre-paid RMB 427 per car. The order showed I had to pay EUR 256.74 per car at the store, but I ended up paying EUR 286.5 per car along with a deposit of EUR 806 per car on my credit card. The deposit hasn't been refunded even after returning the cars, which caused my credit card to max out, forcing me to change names for car rentals in Crete and Santorini.

Car was not as I would have liked. Last years was excellent. Radio and window washers didn’t work. Car bodywork was not good but mechanically it was sound. When I picked it up it was the last car they had. When I dropped it off there were many very good cars. Maybe I was unlucky. Staff were fine.

All good. Price Protector worked well and saved me money.

All went as expected. The staff who checked the car condition in Corfu were very friendly and helpful. There was no queue at the rental desk. Skoda Fabia deisel.

Very good value for money

I had to wait over 1 hour to get the vehicle and this is after all the process of signing the contract (which was another 30 minute). They made me wait outside in the middle of the street in the wind for over 1 hour and then gave us a very old van in terrible conditions
