Never again, a nightmare.

I was jet lagged and the staff sold me a plate pass which I didn’t need to use once. The insurance was a lot of money and was not transparent ( as in other countries) as to how much it was. There was a lot of upselling going on. I’ve never had that at a car rental before so wasn’t expecting it. The front bumper of the car was loose and I had to keep pushing it back into place.

FIRSTLY I FELT CHEATED AS I WAS OFFERED A VERY OLD CAR AND THEN WAS TOLD THAT OTHER CARS ARE NOT AWAILABLE AND WAS PRESURISED AND FORCED TO PAY EXTRA AND DO UPGRADE TO CAR AND EVEN INSURANCE WAS CHARGED AT VERY HIGH RATE AND FORCED TO TAKE FROM LIMITED CHOICES AND EVEN I WAS TOLD TO WAIT FOR BETTER CAR FOR 2/3 HRS AS NO CARS WERE AWAILABLE BUT AS SOON AS I AGREED TO PAY EXTRA SOON THEY GAVE ME CAR

Easy pick up from Los Angeles airport with quick transfer to depot. Agent tried to upsell everything, we had our own insurance policy but he wasn't taking no for an answer but eventually gave up. Sold us toll pass, stating we wouldn't be able to get anywhere without it. Naively we hadn't done research on this so agreed. Upon return we complained to the customer service desk who removed the toll pass charge so we only paid what we used which was minimal! I have to say we were impressed with how they dealt with this in the end. We would use again.

Very easy to navigate, offering good selection of prices and range of companies.

Waited to long for shuttle to pick me up, waited to long inside FOX to get vehicle, vehicle was dirty. Waited to long for shuttle to pick me up and bring me back to airport. Just terrible. !!

Great car....better than I hoped. Took too long waiting to pick up the car after the agreements had been signed...40 minutes or so. And, the agent with whom contacts were signed was told that additional insurance wasn't wanted but still it got added. Customer service quickly sorted the issue out though...very happy with speed of response. Would have been nice to have been shown how to use cruise control and open gas tank. There was no information whether diesel or gas car. I had to guess. Why no sticker by car tank?
