I rented a S Max but was give a C Max and was told that C Max is what I have rented despite S Max is on my rental agreement. I can't refuse it because there is no other vehicle available. We needed the space of a bigger car with 7 people and luggage. You can imagine how close it gets to being not possible to fit everyone and thing in it, which means the trip cannot go ahead.

Very satisfied! I have always used Hertz for car rentals in Germany. There are no mileage limits, and the vehicles are relatively new. The rental prices at the airport are twice as high as in the city, so I chose to rent in the city. I originally reserved a fuel car, but when I arrived at the car rental location, I noticed there were only five Polestar 2s available. The lady at the front desk highly recommended it since she drives this model herself. Initially, I was concerned about range issues, but after driving it, I found that electric car ranges in Germany are more reliable than those in China. Charging stations are extremely abundant, and there’s no waiting in line. The plugs are different from those in China, but the charging speed is very fast, so there’s no range anxiety. The only drawback is that the Polestar 2 has a maximum speed of just 165 km/h!

There were no cars available at the store, and the staff never showed up. There was no compensation plan provided.

1. Charged an extra 50 euros for overtime due to flight delay, which is very excessive. It was about 1 hour. 2. Overcharged. 3. Deliberately did not provide the reserved model, claiming the order was too cheap.

Great experience. No extra upselling, and they provided a brand new car with only 12 kilometers on it.

The staff at the store were friendly, the car was relatively new and performed well. However, I originally rented an Opel or a similar model, and the store gave me a Fiat 500X. Is that in the same category? Was it an upsell? During the return, the staff mentioned a tire scratch and a tiny paint chip on a mirror. I believe these were pre-existing, as I had no incidents during my trip. Unfortunately, I didn't notice them during pick-up.
