Not the car I reserved but it worked out

Car was full of damage and wheel bearing were shot, it was like driving a car with winter studs!!!!

It’s a shame and they didn’t give me the car. Wanted $400 cash down. Wasted time going there and had to go to another rental agency. That gave me Acari no problem with only $200 down

The counter staff was very nice and very helpful. I did not receive enough information about the tolls, how to pay them on time, the website to pay them on time, how to avoid penalties and fees in California, when I found the page were only 5 days to pay them, now I will have penalties and fees for this, When I delivered the car I asked about this concern and nobody knew anything about this and they called the supervisor and he didn't know how to give me an appropriate answer and he wasn't helpful nor nice, he was rude and I got angry for this, I delivered the car on saturday 20th. the insurance was other problem, I booked online the car and I paid the insurance of $ 120.75 and when I rented the car, I had to pay for another insurance because that did not serve me and I claimed to cancel with that company and they refused to refund the money. On the other hand the car was in perfect condition I'm very happy with the service.

The pick up was slow from the start. 2 connections by shuttle just to get to the facility. Check in line wasn’t very large but it took a considerable amount of time to check in each person. Car was not cleaned prior to us using it. Upon drop off had we not taken a Lyft from the location. We would have missed our flight home. Shuttle took 45 minutes before we decided we need to take alternate transportation back to airport. Not sure how long it actually took it too arrive. And that’s not even including the line we would have had to wait in to confirm our payment to cash as requested when we put down our CC as a hold.

Car was filthy and had a terrible ride/shake. I didn't return it only because the employee at the exit was so rude and the service inside took way too long. Needless to say, the tires were thread bare and one blew on the freeway. There was no spare tire and it took almost 24 hours before I could reach roadside assistance. I'm mostly upset that my safety was clearly not a priority to fox rental car.

Booking was easy enough, but it wasn't clear to me that I would actually need to take two shuttles to get to the vehicle and I wish some real customer reviews would have been readily apparent.
