The pickup process was extremely slow. It took 30-60 minutes per person, and I had to wait in line for nearly an hour. Then it took another 45 minutes to complete the paperwork. The prolonged process almost caused me to miss my subsequent plans.

The staff member was a young man who was very patient and communicated in English reasonably well. The pickup location was on the fourth floor of a nearby parking lot, accessible by elevator. The actual parking spot for the vehicle wasn't the one initially indicated, but we eventually found the car by following the sound of the remote unlocking. The car provided was a Volkswagen T-Roc, and the trunk could fit two 24-inch suitcases and one 20-inch suitcase, which exceeded expectations. We did some prior research and purchased full insurance at the store, with a total payment of 515 euros (including a one-way drop-off fee of about 103 euros, an additional driver fee of 10 euros per day totaling 90 euros, and full insurance). Returning the car was quick as well; the staff confirmed no accidents or new damages during inspection, and a signature was all that was required. This highlights the benefit of having full insurance.

The car wasn't even mentioned. I was told to use a Chinese VISA card because I have a European driver's license. I've been renting cars for nearly 4 months, but using this company for the first time turned out to be a scam. Everyone, beware. No refunds are given. This company does not allow free cancellations, so please be cautious.

[Experience with CIAO Car Rental: A Disappointing Car Rental Experience] As frequent travelers who often rent cars abroad (with dozens of rental experiences), this was the worst car rental experience we have encountered. Below is a summary of the issues for other travelers' reference: 1. Location and Accessibility Issues • The rental counter is not located inside the airport, requiring a long shuttle ride to reach the rental location, which wastes significant time. • Upon inquiry with other well-known car rental companies inside the airport, none had heard of this brand. • Customer service staff had difficulty communicating in English, leading to delays in finding the shuttle pick-up point. 2. Downgraded Vehicle and Condition Issues • The actual vehicle provided was significantly different from the reserved one: the reserved Citroën C3 was replaced with a smaller Lancia model. • The vehicle had performance issues: struggled on mild inclines and could only reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h even with the accelerator fully pressed. • The vehicle was in poor condition: the rear bumper had visible cracks, posing safety concerns. 3. Unreasonable Deposit Policy • A deposit of up to 600 euros was required (much higher than the industry standard). • The deposit refund mechanism lacked transparency, raising concerns about fund security. • Major rental companies often waive deposits; consumers are advised to prioritize reputable brands. 4. Security Concerns • Items were lost from inside the car, with the possibility of staff being involved. • Important Reminder: When traveling in Europe, always keep a close eye on your belongings and never let your luggage out of sight. 1) The counter staff was very friendly and helpful. 2) The release of the deposit was immediate! 3) We booked full to full fuel tank, however it was then level to level (which I usually avoid), even though accaptable. 4) The pickup instructions were incorrect. Instructions said exit 8, while it was actually 3. The info on the pickup van was also incorrect, however we managed to get there. I would use this company again when in Milan. Overall good and happy with the service.

1. The process took a long time, and the queue was very long. I encountered a thief while waiting in line inside the store, and my backpack was stolen. 2. I returned the car at a different airport location around 9 PM (the scheduled time). Since I couldn't find a gas station, I went to the store first to ask for directions and specifically asked the staff if it would be counted as a return within the same day if I took some time to refuel. After the staff confirmed it wouldn't be considered late, I went to refuel. However, upon returning the car, a different person took the keys, and the system recorded the return time as 6 AM the next day, charging me an extra day's fee!

There were many scratches on the car at pickup. I photographed the entire car as evidence. Since it was a self-service return at the airport, I now see that 1800 euros were unjustly charged to my credit card. I plan to file a complaint to get it refunded.

Highly recommended! A few days ago, I rented a car to travel around Milan and planned to return it there. Later, I needed to change the return location to Rome, but didn't know how to proceed. QEEQ's assistance content seemed complicated, and time was tight, so I decided to return the car and rebook another one. When I reached the return point, the staff helped me switch directly, saving at least an hour that I would have spent going back to the office. I ended up being three minutes early to the client’s factory, which was over 300 kilometers away.

At pick-up, the amount given to me did not match the agreed order amount. The rental service resolved this. However, after returning home, I received several unexplained charges (fines) totaling nearly 2000 RMB. Hertz only sent an email, claiming there was a traffic violation caught by a traffic camera, with a deduction of 31 Euros. There were no violation photos, no evidence, and no official traffic tickets. The rental service explained that it was a 'violation management fee' charged by the car company, and the fine was separate, which feels unreasonable.

The car had some damage to the inside of the trunk, and it was t documented before we left. (It was in the lining of the trunk that covered the spare tire). And they are trying to charge us an extra €290 for damages. We didn’t do this so fighting with Alamo’s customer service is proving to be difficult. Make sure to check everything inside and out. They’ll try and get you.

Cars are not well looked after. The first car they gave me had a flat tire and they didn't even believe me when i reported it. They have a policy that customer should return the car clean inside out and if not there is a 20€ charge.

Dollar was great. Car pickup was in fact handled by Hertz, which wasn't super clear when booking, but we asked around and got there. Everything went smoothly. Only caveat is they charged us a country border fee even though QEEQ communicated it was included. Other than that everything went smoothly and easily, car was as marketed and had no issues.

Unfortunately Covid has affected rental business, there are less choice of cars, winter tires where not yet installed, or allocated to companies with fleet. The check in was managed by one person alone that was doing his best, but the process took long. Keddy / Europcar is till a top rental and their cars are very often in perfect conditions, as was mine. MIlan Linate has moved the parking of the rentals in a different tower and you need to get two elevetors and pass through a bridge. Not easy, and a long way to walk.

Despite confirming multiple times before the trip that an employee would meet us at the airport, there was no one when we arrived at night. When we called, they said they were about to close and didn't take responsibility for handing over or inspecting the car. We had to find the car ourselves in the external parking lot. When returning the car at 10 AM, no one was there either, and we had to wait outside for someone to help with checking in the vehicle.

I changed the order time and communicated with the rental car customer service promptly. The customer service confirmed they had communicated with the local car rental company.
