1) This was the first time encountering aggressive upselling at Dollar rental. The elderly woman insisted on convincing you to upgrade, constantly bargaining, and said she needed to discuss with her manager if you refused. Essentially, she made it impossible for you to leave without upgrading. The Jeep you wanted wasn't available, so if you didn't upgrade, you'd only get a Kia. 2) The most frustrating part: for every toll payment, an additional charge of $9.99 was applied, even if the toll itself was only $7, they still added $9.99! 3) The upgraded car's oil warning light kept flashing, indicating that the oil was not changed or checked before returning the vehicle previously!

The service was great, the procedures were quick, the car was in good condition, and the return inspection was easy.

Although I booked a Grand Cherokee, I never saw a single one from start to finish. In the end, I had no choice but to choose a Nissan Murano, which had already run nearly 100,000 kilometers. It wasn't what I wanted.

Computers were a problem on the day and my order had to be processed manually which the staff did well but I still had to wait an unacceptable time in collecting and returning the car. I now have to go to additional effort to get my security deposit back unless this is something you can sort for me now? Otherwise I was told to ring a 1800 number.

Like: MSP is a difficult airport to rent a car at but this time was fairly easy due to good service. The dollar people we're friendly and efficient. Booking beforehand made it a smooth process.
Dislike: When we returned the car, some of the men were just standing there watching my disabled Mom and I struggle to gather our belongings. I realize it is a cultural issue, but employees should be instructed in American values and be expected to help customers.
