Never showed for pickup. Said they closed at 9:30 so why would they allow a reservation at that time? Also at the time of booking hours were 24, then the changed them without telling us. So I was left stranded at the airport. Could not reach them by phone and tried calling since 9:20 pm. Will never use fox again. They didn't even apologize for their error. Poor customer service!

Quick to respond when I reported this issue

1. waiting time at counter 40 minutes. much too long. 2. first vehicle handed to me had cruise control broken. I found out after 15 minutes in the car and returned the car. I was given angoss replacement car. 3. Staff at gate was rude.

Getting to the pickup location was annoying and the extra fees upon booking made this a ripoff. Will recommend people do not use Fox.

When I arrived at the counter, the first problem was the type of car they had for me. I specifically rented a Chevy Impala, but was told I was getting a Ford Fusion. When I asked why I wasn't getting an Impala, the girl told me they don't have Impalas, and acted like they don't even carry them. I reluctantly agreed to the Fusion, but then was told there is a $500 deposit because I'm a local! Why? That's the company's policy. Period. I'm a 64-year old grandmother, so are they afraid I'll take it? Makes absolutely no sense. So, I asked if there was a rental agency that did not charge a deposit. No. Okay, who has a smaller deposit? Well, you can try them (pointing to Dollar/Thrifty) or them (pointing to Avis). I walked to the next counter (Dollar/Thrifty) and asked for an Impala and how much was their deposit. Yes on the Impala with a $200 deposit. I was going to a funeral about 300 miles away, and didn't trust my older car, so it was important to me to have a comfortable car. I will NEVER do business with Fox again.

Great car....better than I hoped. Took too long waiting to pick up the car after the agreements had been signed...40 minutes or so. And, the agent with whom contacts were signed was told that additional insurance wasn't wanted but still it got added. Customer service quickly sorted the issue out though...very happy with speed of response. Would have been nice to have been shown how to use cruise control and open gas tank. There was no information whether diesel or gas car. I had to guess. Why no sticker by car tank?
