These two issues caused the actual price to increase significantly.

The store explained that Colorado state law requires additional insurance.

Also, extra toll fees were added, with two options: $15 per day or $10 per day for actual toll charges.
Due to the time it would have taken to contact the rental car company, I had to reluctantly accept these charges.
Waited about half an hour to pick up the car.

Very convenient. There is a shuttle at the airport. No promotional pitches when picking up the car. Clear signage for returns. The return process was quick and smooth without any issues. Everything was perfect.

Thrift gave us a free upgrade to a mid-size SUV. It was very appreciated when it started snowing in Denver

Like: Costs, promptness
Dislike: All of the rental cars in the fleet (Intermediate) were pretty badly scratched up and dinged but there was no inspection of the car before we left. We had to point that out to the security person at the gate before we went the lot, to make sure that we wouldn't be blamed later.

Like: Used Thrifty cars. Had no issues in communication. They were ready for me when I showed up and all my information was already input.
