Terrible experience

I’m local and showed my own insurance information but the clerk charged me for insurance. I brought my own Sunpass transponder but the clerk charged me $5 daily for “activation fees”. The shuttle took almost 40 minutes to pick us up from the airport. The rental car office facility is literally a shak at a repair shop.

IT WAS A NIGHTMARE FROM THE TIME I WALK INTO THE OFFICE. STAFF UNPROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST NOT ONLY WITH MY EXPERIENCE BUT ALSO WITH OTHERS.

This was the WORST car rental I have ever experienced. There was no wiper fluid, the engine light would not go off, there was a terrible ticking sound from the steering column when you made turns, the air pressure light wouldn't go off, the car was dirty, the pick up experience was terrible, and the FORCED me to take the extra insurance, even though I already had insurance through state farm. NEVER AGAIN.

I was quoted $36 and ended up paying $150 ish dollars - not cool. Mandatory fees and bla bla bla .... not a happy customer. The pickup time took forever and the associate behind the counter was NOT at all helpful. Will not be back.

It's a scam. The price seemed good, and they said they require proof of insurance. I brought the proof when I went to get the car, but at the counter they said I needed a half a million worth of coverage (I'm not even kidding) and that I would need to buy their insurance, which was much more than the car rate itself. Of course I turned it down, and will never go again.
