The pick-up and drop-off locations were easy to find, but the car's condition was poor. The car wasn't cleaned, and I rented it from Amsterdam Airport in the Netherlands, but it had an Italian license plate. Although the scratches on the car were noted in the documents, it still increased the risk of disputes. When returning the car, HERTZ initially refused to inspect it, claiming it was due to a different drop-off location and that their system couldn't find the record. After insisting on an inspection, they were able to locate the record and confirm it. When they asked why our car had an Italian license plate, we realized the car provided wasn't registered in the Netherlands. Only after we presented the rental agreement did they finally confirm everything.

Deceptive practices and disrespecting customer preferences

The staff were very professional. We took some time to find the parking lot because our English isn't very good. Both picking up and returning the car were very quick.

Hertz's service is quite good, the car was very new, and when one of our group's cars had an issue, they promptly replaced it

The service was good, the process was quick. Originally booked a Ford Fiesta, but got a brand-new Fiat 500 instead, which I really liked!
