When I picked up the car from the rental company, it only had enough fuel for 65 kilometers. When I returned it, it still had enough fuel for 500 kilometers, but they didn't offer any refund for the extra fuel like before.

The car was good, the service was excellent. For car rentals in Turkey, choose Cizgi—they are quick and efficient, and they didn't require a credit card deposit in my case, can't comment on other companies. The pick-up and return processes were particularly convenient, with simple and fast procedures.

We forgot to ask if it was HGS or OGS when picking up the car. Later, we were told the car had HGS, and we needed to buy a package for 20 Euros to use it. We bargained it down to 50 Lira, about 75 RMB, as we only used it for a small segment from Ephesus to Izmir and from Pamukkale to Ephesus. Others in our group paid around 30 Lira, and they were charged only for the actual usage of the toll roads. Additionally, a 700 Lira pre-authorization was placed after returning the car. Just yesterday, I noticed a 1 Lira charge, and I'm not sure why.
