Great car, but confusing and disrespectful service at pick up

Our experience at pick up was horrible. There were 4-5 other costumers present when we were, and all of them were angry and engaged in arguements with the counter staff. The terms and conditions misled me: I didn’t realise I needed a passport in addition to drivers licence photo card in order to collect the car. They let me have it anyway for an additional £300! I was tired and just went with it...

“I was forced to take an alternative vehicle because the vehicle was not available in avery cheap car”

A new non-refundable insurance amount of 300 was requested for the vehicle, informing them that I had chosen insurance when pre-booking. I was forced to take an alternative vehicle because the vehicle was not available in a very cheap car, and it had several collisions. the police caused me psychological harm. I was stopped to find out why the car was damaged.

The car was a Honda jazz which isn’t really like a Volkswagen Golf to drive, it seemed much less good quality. The service on the desk was slow, rude and uninterested in customer service. The man then took over 45 minutes to collect the car as it had to be washed or wasn’t ready but we weren’t told, we were just left waiting in a car park for over 30 minutes
