Counter staff deliberately misled us regarding Excess Insurance, claiming that it wasn't an insurance charge and we HAD to pay it..

Interrent / Goldcar in Menorca provide the worst pick-up and drop-off experience I've ever been made to suffer. Ever... Out of date and confusing signing makes you spend 30min in the airport before you find where the shuttle is. That is followed by 2 hours of queues under the sun with third-world services before you can pick up your car. And that is culminated with a drop-off that included about an hour wait for the shuttle. Worst experience ever... Never again Interrent. Never again Goldcar.

Wasn’t located in the terminal unlike advertised. Inter rent did not accept my AMEX or my wife’s VISA for the deposit of €1400 and so we were forced to buy an excess waiver (despite having my own insurance) for €180 at the counter. Had we not had a 2 year old with us and had not been waiting over an hour to get the car we would have just left and gone with a more reputable company such as Avis. In the end we paid the money just to put an end to the ordeal

Pick up location was incorrect so spent an hour walking round trying to find where i should be! Helpline number was in Singapore and when connected i was unable to get through to anyone.. Made to pay extra at the counter even though the booking confirmation clearly said nothing more to pay

Appalling check in process; customers waiting ages on keys. No idea of condition of vehicle, collecting in the dark so photos not possible. On drop off tried to claim I was responsible for scrapes as nothing on the sheet.
