A bit of a hassle

Overall acceptable, but the only dissatisfaction was that I booked the car for 12 PM, arrived at 11:30 AM and was told there was no car available, so I had to wait. I ended up having lunch across the street before picking up the car.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I visited Kefalonia with my girlfriend and rented a car here for 2 days. We were offered 50 Euro insurance but declined because we had purchased external insurance. The car was inspected by a Europcar team member and scratches and marks were noted. The underside of the car was not inspected. We were EXTREMELY careful when driving around for 2 days. Upon arrival, the car was inspected and we were told that a there was a scratch on the UNDERSIDE of the car and 300 Euros was payable. I can guarantee you that not only did we not cause this scratch, but that the underside of the car was NOT inspected properly in the first instance. The deposit is too high and they hold it for too long.

Slow and bad customer service. I came the day before my reservation when they were not busy asking them if there was some paperwork I could do in advance and they told me don’t worry don’t worry we’ll do everything tomorrow. Then I have arrived here today and they have asked me to send them by email the confirmation of the booking. They seemed to not even have my booking clear and I have been waiting now for more than half an hour because every single telephone call seem to take preference over myself being here in the office. Avoid this place if possible and rent some where else
