The pickup experience was a total disaster. We never got our car.

We waited for almost 40 minutes for the van to pick us up . When it arrived people were getting off and were extremely upset, saying they were at the pickup location for 2 hours and still didn't get a car. The van driver called the office and my wife talked to the lady there questioning the line there and the lack of cars available and the lady said that they had issues there and would credit our rental charge. That didn't help us with a rental car @ 10:00 P.M. We found another car for over double the cost and finally went on our way. That was the worst car rental experience we've ever had. NEVER AGAIN!

“customer service was very poor - counter server was very rude and inconsiderate”

Counter service - very rude – later claimed to be the manager when I insisted on talking to manager. Clearly offered me a visibly damage and dented car at the rear and front with excuse that car was fine, and there was nothing else available to offer me unless I paid more for another bigger car. Claimed there was nothing she could do about her decision. She even walked away from me and asked me to think what I wanted to do after I rejected the car on grounds of potential breakdown anytime due to damage. It was night time and wasn’t taking such a car away with my kids. This was not service of a good and reputable company that was aiming at setting a high standard, and improving customer experience. After a long time of causing a scene, she went out and offered me another car- visibly in a lesser price range I paid for, car key was seriously damaged and falling apart- central locking was not functional at all. It was late, kids very tired after 24hrs of travelling - I decided to take the car. Checking back in the car - there was no clear instructions on the process - Lined up and waited only to later tell me that I had to wait outside- an agent was to come to me at the car to check the car. Waited again until I went to enquire from one of your transport drivers what was happening, and why I had to wait this long yet we were getting late for our flight. The transport driver decided to do the car checking- in of the car, however without reference to the checking-out records of the then state of the car. I queried that but he went ahead to check the car and said all was fine, asked me to write my names, sign and put my email address for any correspondences. No paperwork was given to confirm what he had said to me. He initially queried gas left in tank - gauge was just over the 1/2 mark - I had to remind him that the car was given with half tank. I was very bitter with your company, and will be taking further legal action.

The line in the office was insane. The whole booking and return process of the site is completely disorganised and has no in-out flow like normal rentals. They just pick random cars off the grass and yard outside. Cars were scruffy. Be prepared to wait at least an hour to collect or return a vehicle.

“Worst car rental experience ever.”

The hire company did not release the car to me as they would not accept my credit card, also they tried to withdraw 1800 dollars from my credit card before agreeing to release the car even though my contract said it would be less than 300 dollars. Ended up being left stranded miles from my destination and had to pay a $90 uber to get there and having to book another car later on which cost me another 200 dollars. The staff at Easirent Orlando are the worst kind of people I have ever met and should not in such a customer service focused role. Couldnt care less about anyone, everyone in the queue in front of me were having similar issues regarding insurance and the hard sale on EZ passes at an exorbitant $10 a day, even lying that the tolls no longer accepted cash. Never again will I book a car from Easirent in Orlando and will be contacting EasyRentCars in due course to seek a full refund.

“Frustrating”

Had to ask other companies where the Easirent Shiuttle stops. Shuttle took 40 min to arrive. I had to call. High pressure upsell at the counter for $90 toll pass and more insurance. Returned the car at 4am. Had to leave keys under floor mat in car unlocked since no drop box. No shuttle to airport at that hour even though there were at least 2 other families doing the same thing. Taxi companies had a hard time locating the office as it is a new business? And the website and emailed contract show different addresses. Benrus st and Collingswood st? Which Is it? The first taxi I ordered from Orlando Taxi was a no-show. A little stressful when catching a flight.
