The airport shuttle goes directly to Dollar Rent a Car, and the staff are friendly, making picking up and returning the car convenient.

It was okay, but there were a lot more people renting from Dollar compared to other companies. The queue was very long.

It's best to bring a translated copy of your driver's license for quicker processing. You can decline any additional insurance or services offered at the counter, and they won't push it further. After completing the paperwork, you'll sign on an electronic screen to confirm, ensuring the charge is zero. The cars are located in a nearby parking lot, and you can choose your vehicle within the same category, based on the available options. At the parking lot exit, staff will do a final check and you can be on your way. Overall, the process is very quick. We returned the car at LAX, which took quite a while to find the return location. If you're not returning the car at the same place you picked it up, allow extra time to find the return spot. Returning the car is simple: staff will check the car's condition and fuel gauge, and may ask for the last refueling receipt. Once confirmed, they'll print you a receipt and you're done.
