Counter staff became hostile when I didn't want to purchase additional insurance (not needed as i had an annual SDCW policy). On returning the vehicle, the staff member inspected the car and found 2 minute scratches (almost invisible to the naked eye and certainly not done by me) and said that, technically, I was responsible for this as the 'damage' had not been reported when I picked up the car. She decided not to charge me as she was 'tired'. I am not an easily annoyed person, but her attitude made me very cross. I would not use goldcar again. If you choose to do so, I would recommend inspecting thoroughly the vehicle on pickup and making sure that you report even the tiniest scratch and paint chip before accepting the car.

Car was excellent. Did not like counter staff trying to sell me insurance at the counter. I had bought full cover with Easyrent. Pretty much told , if you break down you are on your own.

Easyrentcars was easy

GOLDCAR reject to my credit card and proposed to rent a car only by paying full insurance which I have already from AXA by Easyrentcars.com. Previously I had rent a car in London and in Amsterdam by GOLDCAR and hadn't such problems. Also, there were some issues with fuel indication and service needed but hopefully it was not affected vehicle usage.

Like: Easyrentcar.com simplifies car rental as they do all the work for best value for money from reputable car hire companies.
Dislike: Unfortunately the insurance is the most expensive as we opted for a full comprehensive cover.
