The process of paperwork and car pickup was quite convenient.

As expected from a major car rental company, everything was great. The service attitude was excellent, and the car had only been driven 13,000 miles, so it was pretty new. The acceleration was responsive, and the brakes were sharp—really a good car. However, there were quite a few small scratches. Remember to record those yourself. QEEQ has a dedicated feature for uploading photos, which I think is great for keeping evidence and avoiding future troubles.

The car I reserved wasn't available when I arrived, and I had to wait for an hour and a half. In the end, they still didn't provide the reserved car, downgraded me, and refused to refund the price difference.

Alamo need to join the 21st century and recognise that many jurisdictions are moving from physical to digital Drivers Licences. Refusal to add an additional driver who only has a Digital licence (their home state only issues Digital licecnces) plus an IDP was quite an unwelcome suprise.

入国手続きが思ったより早く済み、COに１時間早かったが、CIも１時間早くすることで、追加料金なくレンタルできました。よって予約時の車と違い空いてる車から選択可というシステムも思いがけず良かったです。日本のように事前にスタッフとキズ等のチェックはなく、自分自身で確認。キズ等箇所あれば写真撮りということが、後でわかりました。CI時にはそのダメージを問われましたが、CO時スタッフから確認されましたが、事前からだよということでOKでした。

There was clearly an orange car, but they insisted it was dirty. When I went back to take a photo to prove it was clean, they called security through the intercom to stop me. I was already sitting in the car, and they said I could upgrade and switch cars. If the car was sterile, why switch after I’ve already sat in it and then give it to someone else? That's so irresponsible and sloppy.

Alamo in Honolulu is one of my very fave places to rent. Always super sweet, very efficient and friendly.

受け取りの際、自動チェックインがあったので、英語で変にサービス勧誘されなくてよかった。あっという間に受け取り返却ができた。日本も見習って欲しい。

完全に英語のみだったので受付が不安でしたが、受付の方に上手く対応して貰えました。 そのあとに勝手に車に乗っていってというスタンスだったので、案内もされず乗っていっていいのか戸惑いました。 またホノルル空港からのシャトルバスが何処にあるのか分からず30分程迷いましたが、空港の方がレンタカーシャトルバスの乗る場所を教えて貰い何とか乗れました。
