SHUTTLE: International Terminal Arrivals: 1. Once you clear customs and exit into the arrivals area. 2. Make your way-out to Door 8, cross the pedestrian crossing and follow the ‘Car Rentals’ sign to the Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Alamo, and National Car rental office in the AKL Airport Transport Hub. Domestic Terminal Arrivals: 1. After retrieving your luggage, exit through Door Number 4, located adjacent to the food court. 2. Cross the domestic terminal forecourt to reach the multi-level carpark building directly opposite. 3. Once inside the carpark, descend to the ground floor. 4. Look for Enterprise, Alamo, and National Car Rental office, which you'll find situated on the far left side of the building. Towards any New Zealand islands, taking rental cars crossing islands is allowed with certain conditions.

Ferry crossings with the vehicle are permitted. Customers are required to inform the rental branch about any cross-border travel at least 3 days in advance. Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge. Parts of New Zealand are not suitable for access by rental vehicles. If the renter takes the Vehicle to any of the following areas, their Liability for any loss or damage may increase and any optional protection product se1ected such as Loss or Collision Damage Waiver will be voided: Ball Hutt Road (Mt Cook), Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Te Paki Stream Bed, the road to Macetown in the Queenstown Area, the coast road to Russell (Northland), or any unformed road, track, or thoroughfare, including beaches and gravel roads that are not officially designated a road.

Ferry Transportation: Allowed

Enterprise allows you to bring the rental vehicle on the ferry. However ferry companies may charge you to bring a vehicle across Cook Strait.
