Easy and straight forward but surprised at deposit amount

Very annoying up-selling of insurances and other services by Gold Car staff at Bordeaux airport.

The waiting time at the pick-up counter was even worse than Avis. Trust me, it is very bad.

Over 40 minute wait to be seen at the counter. Aggressive selling techniques even after explaining I had already brought insurance. Wanted to charge me a extra €200 for their insurance. Scare tactics when I refused. Car was cleaned on the outside. Filthy windows. Nobody to check the car over with.

Website was easy to navigate. Good price.

The wait to pick up the car was rediculously long, especially in a warm airport with 2 young children. Counter staff were quite rude and once we realised car was far too small, we weren't able to upgrade. Wait for return was also quite lengthy.

Booking was smooth and easy to include all waivers.

Pick up takes too bloody long!!!!!! Too lo g winded process.

Could have mentioned at time of booking that Ace is at the Goldcar desk
