Pick-up Instructions

The Europcar - Haneda car rental location is located out of the airport

You can arrive of Europcar - Haneda car rental by free shuttle bus.

Arrival at Terminal 1: Please proceed to the south side of the arrival hall on the first floor to find the Times Car counter. Arrival at Terminal 2: Please head to counter number 2 at the arrival hall on the first floor. There are no staff members stationed at the counter. Please use the free phone provided on the counter to contact the store. We will arrange shuttle buses (approximately 20-40 minutes). Departure times for the shuttle buses are subject to the needs of other passengers on the day, so please be patient after calling. This service is provided by Times, a partner of Europcar.

Drop-off Instructions

Please follow the address to drop off the car ( Cars cannot be returned in the Haneda Airport ), and a free shuttle service is offered after returning the car. For International flights, please return 3 hours prior departure and for domestic flights please return 1.5 hours eariler. We had issues with our IDP which wasn't dated (error by Post Office in the UK) but it took an hour to convince Europcar/Times to accept it was valid. Otherwise the Times staff were helpful and the return drop off details very good.

The store closed early. We returned to the store around 8:50 PM, and there was no one there. We couldn't return the car, and no one answered the phone. When we called the service center, no one spoke English. Our flight was in the early hours of the next morning, and they actually asked us to change our flight to return the car the next morning. No one was willing to help, so we had to find a local friend to handle it. We've rented cars many times, and this is the first time a store hasn't called to confirm a return when the time was approaching. The store's English communication was also problematic. Our reservation was to return the car from 8 AM to 8 PM, but we picked up the car around 9 PM. We even asked the store if we could return the car at 9 PM, and they agreed. However, on the day of return, they closed before 9 PM. The store's closing time was supposed to be 9 PM. This is really outrageous!
