They gave me a car that seemed brand new, with less than 100 kilometers driven. If you're going to the mountainous areas in southern Serbia, I strongly recommend getting full insurance. Some roads there are very narrow, especially the roads leading in and out of the UVAC canyon. It's inevitable that you might brush against the roadside bushes when passing other vehicles, which could leave scratches on the car. This company is extremely meticulous when inspecting the vehicle upon return. It's the most thorough inspection I've ever seen. When I returned the car, there was a barely noticeable scratch under the right side door, and they charged me over 800 euros for it (I only had basic insurance).

I've had issues both times at this rental car company's airport pickup point. If you pick up the car earlier but return it at the same time (e.g., booking from 10am to the next day 10am, but picking up at 8:30am and returning at 8:30am the next day), you will be charged an extra day's fee. Take note!!!! Additionally, the airport branch's working hours are until 10pm local time, and picking up the car after 10pm incurs a service fee of 36 euros. They said it's in the airport, but it's actually outside the airport. There are no signs, so it was very hard to find, located in an inconspicuous corner. The staff's attitude was indifferent. When returning the car, they made me wait and I almost missed my flight. The car was in average condition, the engine protection shield came off while driving due to loose screws, and the car had many scratches. Luckily, I took videos and pictures; otherwise, there would've been disputes when returning the car. They didn't care when I picked up the car but checked it meticulously when I returned it. The overall experience was not very good.

A local rental company, everything went smoothly for both pickup and drop-off. When picking up the car, I noticed a scratch that was not recorded, so I immediately informed the staff. They assured me that it was fine since they had taken photos. If I was asked to pay for it when returning, I could just show them the photos. During the return, they didn't check the scratches, only inspected the area under the trunk. Overall, it was very smooth.

There were no hard sales pitches. They simply asked if we had bought insurance. When we said we already had, they didn't push further. The diesel car is powerful enough for uphill drives. The car was in good condition and relatively new. It was easy to drive. There were no staff present when picking up the car; you could just drive off yourself. The car pick-up was at the airport, under the tower. The same person handled both the pick-up and return. I only purchased basic insurance, while this company’s full coverage costs about 20 euros per day, which is relatively more cost-effective than options in my home country. Additionally, there was no need for upfront payment, as I purchased it directly through the local car rental company. The snow tires I noted in the reservation were arranged, and the car provided was a 1.2T Opel with just over 10,000 kilometers on the odometer. The power was average but sufficient. The trunk fit two 26-inch suitcases and one 24-inch suitcase comfortably. Overall, it was a good experience. During pick-up, they processed the pre-authorization of over 500 euros for insurance charges without much explanation, but upon returning the car, only the insurance fee was finalized while the rest was refunded. However, the charges were processed in the local currency instead of euros. All in all, it went smoothly and was a good experience.

The car was quite new, with only 12,000 kilometers driven when picked up, and very fuel-efficient. After driving 1,800 kilometers, I only refueled twice while maintaining a full tank for return. However, when faced with poor vehicle conditions, it was almost impossible to get assistance. In the past, I usually chose well-known international rental companies like Europe or Hertz for international trips. This time, I opted for this company mainly for convenience with cross-border travel, but the service was really disappointing—perhaps that’s just how service is in Serbia. During business hours, repeatedly calling the contact number provided for pickup resulted in no one answering or the calls being hung up, which was extremely frustrating. Luckily, after comparing rental platforms, I firmly opted for Zuzuche, which provided quick and effective assistance throughout the process.

The car rental experience was very poor. For their own benefit, they refused to assist with any difficulties faced by renters, which was disheartening. I will never rent a car from the CARWIZ rental company again.
We always rent cars for self-driving trips when traveling abroad and have generally had great experiences. However, this time on May 3 at Belgrade Airport with CARWIZ, it was disappointing. Here's what happened: the primary driver forgot to bring their credit card, and the company would not let us pick up the car. We proposed two solutions: 1. Use cash for the deposit or have a traveling companion's credit card pay the deposit; 2. Replace the primary driver on the booking with a traveling companion or rebook under their name. Both were rejected. The only condition given by the company staff was to pay an additional €650 for full insurance; otherwise, we would not be allowed to pick up the car and the already paid rental fee would not be refunded. Ultimately, after some bargaining, they allowed us to pick up the car after we paid €620.
Additionally, I want to inform everyone that the car's exterior condition was quite poor, with over a dozen noticeable scratches and dents. Since I opted for full insurance, I didn't bother negotiating further. Overall, this car rental experience was very unpleasant. Please take this into consideration.

The pickup location is in a container near the airport and cannot be found using Google Maps. It was only with the GPS address provided in QEEQ's email that it could be located. The staff left a phone number but had gone out; we had to ask the nearby Sixt staff to call and get them to come back. I originally booked an Octavia, but they said there were no cars available and upgraded me to an A4. This made me drive very cautiously throughout the trip, avoiding parking on the roadside out of fear of scratches.
