Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

The overall service at the store is excellent. I've used Avis in multiple countries, and this location has the best service. They go over the rental contract with you step by step. During business hours, car inspections are done in person upon return. The car condition is decent, although one rear-view mirror is slightly loose, it does not affect driving.

The worst service in years. The specific staff had the “ I couldn’t care less” attitude. I have booked an Opel Crossland or similar. I was told that they did not have one with summer tyres, ok that happens, then usually you get an upgrade. Not here Europe car offered me a Suzuki Swift, which is way smaller, or I had to pay $15 for the winter tyres per day that I did need nor ordered. I was told I had to pay or no car or I could get the Suzuki, that was way to small. No other offering nor compromise. I had to accept the charge. The next was that, I was told that the car had no damage to it. After inspecting the car I found a large circular marking on it. I went back and asked the specific staff to add it to the damage report, which she declined. I asked her again please add it to the report and she said no I could just take a a photo of the damage. From previous experience with Europecar UK, I was told the same, but ended up being a hell of an experience afterwards. So from then always have all the damages on the damage report.

The car was fine, but when returning it, they claimed there was a slight scratch on the bell and said I caused it. During pickup, only their staff inspected the vehicle, and since the parking lot was dimly lit, I couldn't check properly. However, during the return in outdoor lighting, they nitpicked every detail.

Chinese students living locally, be cautious when renting! As a Chinese citizen working locally with a local driver's license, the rental company refused to hand over the car upon arrival, and they also refused to refund or allow an upgrade by paying the difference, claiming that only people residing in other countries could enjoy the booked price. In the end, no car was picked up.

ALAMO is a local car rental company. Compared to other internationally renowned brands, the prices are much lower, but the service quality and standards are absolutely on par. However, there are more customers, so the waiting time in line is slightly longer. The vehicle condition is excellent, brand new and equipped with intelligent features.

Overall, I am very satisfied. When picking up the car, I told the staff that I had already purchased full insurance domestically. After receiving the contract, I noticed there was an additional daily insurance fee of 28 RMB. Since the amount was small and I had originally booked a Tiguan but was given a BMW X1, I decided to accept it. When returning the car, the staff inspected it briefly and said I was good to go, which was very smooth. The car rental company covered all highway tolls and a ferry fee, and I only paid for one ferry expense. For parking, I generally used parking lots. One common issue with car rentals in Denmark is the lack of spare tires. If a tire were to break during the trip, calling for roadside assistance could delay the journey. Luckily, my trip went smoothly as I had prayed for. I drove a total of 1,900 kilometers, and it was a wonderful experience overall. I'll definitely do this again next time.
