      The person who handed over the car was not the same as the one who received it upon return. I picked up the car at 11 PM and, trusting them, didn’t inspect it thoroughly. When returning the car, they claimed there was a scratch on the hood and blamed it on me, demanding compensation of 800 riyals. Their judgment seemed arbitrary—they decide it’s your responsibility, and that’s it. When returning the car at the airport, I waited for half an hour before someone showed up. The person receiving the car was completely different from the one who handed it over. Since different people have varying understandings of the car’s condition, any discrepancies between the pickup and drop-off inspection forms are automatically deemed the customer’s fault. There was a manager in the group with a rude attitude, though the young lady who finally assisted me was polite. Unfortunately, this didn’t change the fact that I had to pay 800 riyals. Thankfully, I had purchased the full insurance coverage, but I still felt like I was unfairly taken advantage of. Having rented cars for business trips for years, this is the first time I’ve experienced such issues. This feels like a one-time deal, and going forward, none of my company’s employees will use this rental company.

      1. They made me pay for parking when picking up the car, and again when returning it. 2. Double charging issue: I extended my rental from May 5 to May 10 for 5 days, the rental fee had been paid offline, and the full insurance fee was also paid. Despite having fully paid for the extension, they charged me again on my credit card for the same period. Extremely bad experience.

Despite having paid through the platform and presenting the pickup document, I was still forced to make a payment before being allowed to take the car. After nearly an hour of negotiation, I had no choice but to accept. The vehicle provided was not of an equivalent category, significantly smaller, and the air conditioning system was subpar.       The service throughout was friendly, and there was no excessive upselling of insurance. They merely pointed out that our insurance was inadequate but didn't press further once we mentioned we had purchased it on a domestic platform. One shortcoming, however, was that the staff did not check the tire pressure. After driving for a day, the tire pressure warning light came on. Initially, we thought the tire might be punctured, but upon inspection, it turned out the pressure was too high. After releasing some air and resetting the gauge, everything was fine.

      Can you believe it? Renting a car in Riyadh, the capital, with all the necessary procedures completed, took over 3 to 4 hours! Having to pay a deposit of 2500 SAR was acceptable, but they took almost from 11 PM to nearly 3 AM to finish processing and hand over the car! Every time someone came by, the staff stopped working just to chat with them! It's more horrifying than 'lightning's 'hahaha'! And if you think that's the end, the real nightmare comes later. When returning the car, we handed the keys to the staff inspecting the car in the parking lot, completed all procedures at the counter, confirmed multiple times that everything was fine, and then left. However, when I went to rent another car in the next city, they told me I hadn't returned the keys! I requested the staff to make a phone call to confirm, but they directly refused and told me to make the call myself. After much effort, I contacted them through the rental platform, and they finally acknowledged it was a misunderstanding. Yet, renting again took another three hours!
